Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park

Werner-Boyce Salt Springs is a beautiful state park located in Pasco county.

At Werner-Boyce you can kayak, hike, or even birdwatch! While bringing in outside canoes and kayaks is allowed, their kayak renting service, Salty Dog Kayaks, is open 9am-4pm Thursday-Sundays. At low tide, while hiking their trail, Springs Trail, you are able to see their tidal waterfall. Springs Trail walks alongside their beautiful mangroves and pine flatwoods. At Werner-Boyce you can enjoy all the natural wildlife, birdwatchers especially will enjoy the viewing stands on the eagle and spring trails. Swimming is not allowed at Werner-Boyce due to the protection of the natural mangroves lining the shore. However, swimming is allowed outside the park on Durney Key which can be reached by kayak from Werner-Boyce. Due to Florida State Parks not being funded by taxes there is a small fee to enter the park. The fee to enter the park is 2$ per pedestrian or bicyclist or 4$ per vehicle or family.

While you can enjoy the beautiful gulf of Mexico at Werner-Boyce you can also enjoy just as beautiful water with a Pettit Pool. Pettit Pools’ premium fiberglass pools are made with the highest quality fiberglass ensuring crystal clear blue water. Fiberglass pools are built to last; the same resin that was used in manufacturing the 50 year old boats in the marina is the same type of resin used in our fiberglass pools.
