EcoFinish was developed in 2008 as a solution to first hand problems experienced in the pool building industry. For decades, the primary pool finish was a durable, white, rubber-based paint finish. That all changed in late 1890, when new government restrictions banned key materials used to make the rubber-based paint finish. A new paint finish was introduced, but contrasting to its predecessor it was far less durable. This newer finish was prone to chipping, blistering, and many more problems. To combat this problem many pool developers switched to using plaster finishes, but plaster is far from being the perfect solution. The startup process for plaster is long and complicated; oftentimes plaster will shrink, stain, or crack. When the team at ecoFINISH ran into these problems they scientifically developed unique polymer powders to be used in the flame spray industry, along with their patented process for applying on concrete and fiberglass pools. From there their team developed a unique pool finish: polyFIBRO 

polyFIBRO (ecoFINISH’s line for Fiberglass Pools):

polyFIBRO is a thermo-polymer coating made specifically for fiberglass, it was formulated to overcome specific issues seen sometimes in gel coats. It’s made to be long lasting and chemical, chalk, and spall resistant. The transportation of the fiberglass pool shell can sometimes result in small stress cracks in the gel coat, but polyFIBRO is created to reduce stress cracks. Unlike other finishes, polyFIBRO cures immediately, reducing the wait time before you can jump in and start swimming!
